It’s that time of year again. Summer is almost over, and school will be starting soon. Then there’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These are all wonderful crafting opportunities, but they’re also the reason I get really busy this time of year.
I would like to encourage you to plan ahead and get your orders in early this year. My busy season seems to start earlier every year. I’m stocking up to be prepared for all orders big or small.
Usually by October I have to extend the order preparation time from 5 to 7 business days to 7 to 10 business days. I hate to do it, but it’s necessary in order to get everyone’s order filled in a timely manner. This extension lasts until around February or March.
To help you stock up, there are 2 active coupon codes:
These are a few of the Suncatcher Craft Eyes orders that shipped this week:

When I was out running errands yesterday, I stopped at a red light and looked over to see this:
Yes, I was in Bangor, Maine (what Steven King calls Derry in his books). This is a Steven King tour van that takes people around to all the famous places in his books.
Homestead-wise this week I’m playing with the vintage scythe I got to cut my lawn and field. It’s so much fun to use. I’m also taking extra special care of my chickens since temperatures are getting into the 90s this week. There’s watermelon in the freezer that I’ll be giving them later as a nice cold treat.
Hope you’re having a wonderful week!
Introducing the new paint-your-own glitter craft eyes kit! Rather than only offering glitter craft eyes to you for a few months a year, now you can make your own anytime!
The kit includes everything you need to get started, including:
✿ A 6-compartment palette for easy painting and blending
✿ 5 Pair of premium clear craft eyes in your size choice
✿ A good paint brush in the appropriate size for the eyes you order
✿ 2 Ounces of glitter paint in your choice of color
✿ Detailed instructions and tips that I’ve learned working with glitter paint over the years
There’s even a special kit just for cat eyes. Everything in the kit is high quality. The palette is washable and reusable.
Clear craft eyes are available separately, and I’ll be adding glitter paint separately as well over the next few weeks.
Hope you like it!
These are some orders I’m shipping out today. Loving this new camera. Hopefully someday I’ll figure out how to take video with it 🙂
Hope you’re having a wonderful spring.
I’ve had this Zebra GK420d thermal label printer for about a month now, and it has become my new favorite. It’s easy to set up and print. Printing is fast. The biggest benefit is that the labels cost about 1/10th the price of 8-1/2 x 11 laser label sheets and no toner cartridges .
It was difficult to find instructions online how to print shipping and SKU labels for Amazon FBA, so I’ve included those in the video description.
This week is your last chance to stock up on glitter craft eyes until November 2016. Available coupon codes include HAPPY2016 to save 10% off any order and BULK25 to save 25% on any order over $100 US.
Wish I could offer these year-round, but they can’t withstand the high temperatures in mail trucks (over 150F!).
Thanks to everyone for your continuted support and encouragement. Happy Spring!
These are some photo videos of the different color styles of my craft eyes: Opaque, Shimmer, Translucent, and Glitter. I’ve ordered a professional camera, so future photos should be much better quality!
This week there were a lot of pretty colors shipping out all over the world – Canada, Iceland, France, Great Britain, Australia, South Africa, and of course the U.S.
The purple and blue flower eyes and the black frosted craft eyes are heading to some crafters for product reviews.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year!
